People nowadays try different ways to relax. And a popular choice for this is going to a spa or massage place to get the relaxation wanted. But of course there is nothing more relaxing than having these, right at your very own house. There are a few simple tips in creating your very own spa and massage room and they are light, sound and smell.

Lighting is the most important feature of a home spa and massage room. There should be enough light for the masseuse or masseur to see what he or she is doing. But the light should not be bright enough to distract your mode while having the massage. In order to do this, candles are put in a side table as well dim lamp lights to facilitate just the right amount of lighting. Others use walls made out of wood and paper to use the natural light from the outside as the dim light for spa or massage room.

And now, to enhance the relaxing mood in your own spa and massage room, sound and smell are two features that need to be considered. For the sound aspect, make sure that it is subtle for it to be relaxing. Subtle sounds can be instrumental music or the sound of flowing water from ceramic or wooden décor. After providing a subtle music in your spa or massage room, infuse a calming scent like putting boiled mint leaves under the massage table exactly at the spot of where the face positioned. There are other flowers or leaves that can be selected for this feature depending on your scent preference. Or scented candles can also be used for this purpose.
